University of Sharjah Presentation

The FoodTech Challenge Team introduced the competition to 40 students from The University of Sharjah. We provided an overview of food security in a global and UAE context, described the application process for the FoodTech Challenge, and discussed several of the latest agricultural technologies currently in practice. We were pleased to have the support of Dr. Abdul Hai Al-Alami, Associate Chairman of Sustainable Renewable Energy Engineering Department, Prof. Abdul Ghani Olabi, Head of Sustainable Renewable Energy Engineering Department, and Dr. Muhammad Tawalbeh, Assistant Professor, all of whom participated in the presentation.
